A Prefeitura de Cuiabá, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura, Esporte e Lazer informa que, as listas com os resultados preliminares dos projetos inscritos para aplicação dos recursos provenientes da Lei Complementar 195/2022, conhecida como Lei Paulo Gustavo estão disponíveis para consulta. Essa informação foi publicada na edição da Gazeta Municipal desta quarta-feira (10), substituindo completamente a divulgação anterior feita em 07 de dezembro de 2023.
Nessa fase, os proponentes têm a oportunidade de apresentar contrarrazões aos recursos, se necessário. O resultado definitivo das propostas culturais está programado para ser publicado em 25 de janeiro de 2024.
Pela primeira vez, Cuiabá destinará um montante expressivo de R$ 5.229.256,92, proveniente do superávit do Fundo Nacional da Cultura (FNC), para apoiar a classe cultural local.
É relevante destacar que o prazo para a execução dos recursos da Lei Paulo Gustavo foi prorrogado por mais um ano, estendendo-se até 31 de dezembro de 2024, conforme oficializado pela Lei Complementar nº 202/2023, promulgada pelo Governo Federal.
Os Editais de Seleção foram categorizados em três vertentes: “Fornada”, destinada a apoiar produções audiovisuais, capacitações, formação de acervos e pesquisas; “Cine Embornal”, focada no apoio às salas de cinema; e “Múltiplas Linguagens Gambira Cultural”, que abrange diversas formas de expressão cultural. A publicação inclui os nomes dos projetos, notas finais, classificações, tipos de classificação, cotistas e tipos de cotas.
Após a conclusão do prazo estipulado para a execução dos recursos, eventuais saldos remanescentes nas contas específicas serão restituídos às contas do Tesouro Nacional em até 10 dias úteis. Esse procedimento será realizado por meio da emissão e pagamento da Guia de Recolhimento da União eletrônica pelos Estados, pelo Distrito Federal e pelos Municípios.

A Lei Paulo Gustavo foi criada com o objetivo de revitalizar o setor cultural, oferecendo suporte para que artistas, produtores e organizadores culturais possam retomar suas atividades. Com um aporte financeiro de R$ 3,86 bilhões destinado aos entes federados, a lei foi sancionada em 2022 e regulamentada em maio de 2023 pelo Decreto 11.525.
