Depois do show de abertura de Alceu Valença, marcado pela grande tranquilidade e a presença de muita gente no Centro da Capital, a segunda noite do Folia de Rua, nesta sexta-feira (2), registrou, mais uma vez, uma multidão de foliões, que se divertiu com toda segurança, durante desfile do bloco Vumbora, puxado por Bell Marques, na Avenida Epitácio Pessoa. Esse item, inclusive, fundamental para o sucesso de qualquer Carnaval, foi destacado pelo prefeito Cícero Lucena e o governador da Paraíba, João Azevêdo, que conferiram de perto a estrutura montada pela Prefeitura de João Pessoa e Governo do Estado.
Um posto integrado de segurança pública foi montado no corredor da Via Folia, com Policia Militar, Polícia Civil e Guarda Civil Metropolitana, contando com monitoramento de câmeras, integrado com a inteligência da polícia e esquema do Samu e da Semob-JP. As forças de segurança também atuaram por toda a avenida, com equipes em deslocamento e uso de drones e o helicóptero Acauã. Todo esse aparato foi planejado em conjunto, de forma parceira, disse o prefeito Cicero Lucena, para garantir que João Pessoa tenha não só a melhor prévia carnavalesca, mas, também, a mais segura.
“É um evento que nos permite ter a certeza e a compreensão de que o povo vem para cá para se divertir, para brincar e entrar no clima do Carnaval. João Pessoa se consolida com esse evento, cada vez mais, como a maior prévia carnavalesca desse país, porque ela está pronta, preparada pra ser boa para quem mora e para quem nos visita. Então, eu quero agradecer ao governador, a toda a força de segurança do Estado, a força de segurança do Município também, com a Guarda Municipal, e é isso que nos deixa feliz e confiante de que João Pessoa está cada vez mais melhor”, afirmou o prefeito.
O governador João Azevêdo comemorou a operação das forças de segurança, destacou a parceria com a Prefeitura e disse que o Carnaval da Capital está, cada vez mais, estruturado e fortalecido. “A segurança está absolutamente completa com toda a estrutura da Polícia Militar, da Polícia Civil, do Corpo de Bombeiros, também a estrutura de saúde, todo o sistema montado aqui de câmaras de monitoramento – esse sistema todo informatizado é conectado com o nosso Centro Integrado de Comando e Controle, lá em Mangabeira, para qualquer necessidade. Mas, que o folião venha brincar, participar desse Carnaval, que se divirta, entenda que essa festa é a festa da alegria”, recomendou.
O vice-prefeito Leo Bezerra também celebrou a parceria da Prefeitura com o Governo do Estado, reforçando que todo o planejamento para o Carnaval, além de obras e serviços com participação conjunta, o que fortalece as ações que são colocadas para benefício da população. “Os nossos eventos foram um tremendo sucesso, ontem, por exemplo, a abertura com Alceu Valença, foi o maior sucesso. Um Carnaval, quase nenhuma ocorrência, ou ocorrência grave, que eu fico muito feliz de estar ao lado do prefeito, do governador, da Câmara Municipal, da Assembleia Legislativa e de todos aqueles que querem contribuir com o futuro dessa cidade.
