Hospital Municipal Rocha Faria faz campanha de doação de sangue nesta segunda-feira – Prefeitura da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro

O Hospital Municipal Rocha Faria, em Campo Grande, realiza nesta segunda-feira (05/02), das 10h às 15h, campanha de doação de sangue no Espaço Cegonha, no primeiro andar da unidade. O objetivo é reforçar os estoques do Hemorio no Carnaval. A unidade fornece hemoderivados para mais de 200 hospitais da rede pública do Rio de Janeiro, principalmente para emergências.

Doar sangue é seguro e salva vidas. Depois da coleta, os componentes sanguíneos são separados e quatro pessoas podem ser beneficiadas. E, 24h após a doação, o organismo do doador começa a recompor algumas substâncias que foram retiradas, de forma que a coleta de sangue seguinte pode ser feita após oito semanas para homens e 12 para mulheres, pois o sangue já estará com os componentes reconstituídos.

Para ser um doador de sangue é necessário apresentar documento oficial de identidade com foto; ter entre 16 e 69 anos (menores de 18 devem estar com autorização do responsável); estar bem de saúde e pesar mais de 50 kg. Não precisa estar de jejum. Mas é recomendado que a pessoa não tenha ingerido comida gordurosa nas últimas quatro horas. Outro fator importante é estar descansado. E em 30 dias o voluntário pode pegar o resultado dos exames laboratoriais feitos com uma pequena amostra sanguínea retirada da doação.

Pessoas que fizeram tatuagem ou colocaram piercings devem aguardar seis meses para fazer a doação. Quem teve covid-19 recentemente precisa aguardar dez dias após a recuperação.
