O programa “Prefeitura de bairro em bairro” contemplou, na tarde desta sexta-feira (16), o Jardim Guadalajara e o Caguaçu. A primeira localidade fica na Zona Oeste da cidade e a segunda, na Zona Norte. Nessas ocasiões, uma equipe da Administração Municipal ouviu as principais demandas da população e anunciou ações de melhorias, nas diferentes áreas de serviço público, acompanhada de representantes da Câmara Municipal.
A primeira parada foi no Jardim Guadalajara, sendo que a comunidade apontou a necessidade de melhorias no trânsito, além de manutenção na iluminação pública e de podas em árvores do bairro e da Praça Jurandyr Baddini Rocha, indicando, ainda, a necessidade de intensificação nas rondas, para ampliar a sensação de segurança dos moradores.
As medidas começam a ser adotadas de imediato pela Administração Municipal. Por exemplo, durante a noite, a praça será ponto de parada da equipe de ronda da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM). Outra ação será a proibição de estacionamento de veículos em pontos junto a esse logradouro, para dar fluxo ao trânsito e não comprometer entrada e saída nas garagens das residências.
A Secretaria de Mobilidade (Semob) lembra que o tráfego pelo bairro terá impacto positivamente também a partir da entrega do Corredor Oeste do Sistema BRT, previsto para ocorrer até o fim de março. A iniciativa engloba o recapeamento das avenidas Dr. Armando Pannunzio e General Carneiro, além de mudanças em pontos de retorno e acesso ao Jardim Guadalajara, ao longo dessa primeira via.
Quanto à poda de árvores e troca de lâmpadas em postes no Jardim Guadalajara, os serviços terão início em 15 dias, realizados por equipes da Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo).
O programa ‘Prefeitura de bairro em bairro’ teve continuidade com a visita ao Caguaçu, que se trata de uma localidade rural. A recuperação e o asfaltamento da Estrada dos Martins foi indicado como necessidade principal dos moradores dessa região.
Diante disso, o Poder Público, em cerca de 30 dias, vai iniciar as obras de melhorias em um trecho aproximado de seis quilômetros dessa via, que é de terra. Haverá a aplicação de material fresado de asfalto, em caráter provisório, até que seja efetivada a pavimentação em definitivo.
Em um primeiro momento, cogitava-se asfaltar um trecho inicial de 2,4 km, mas a obra está sendo revista e um novo projeto executivo será elaborado, para contemplar toda a estrada, com pavimento definitivo. A obra está prevista para ser feita com recursos de financiamento federal e emenda parlamentar.
Nos trechos da via onde já há postes com rede secundária de energia elétrica, também dentro de 30 dias começará a instalação de pontos de iluminação pública com lâmpadas em LED.

O programa “Prefeitura de bairro em bairro” é realizado desde a primeira semana de janeiro de 2021, em que as equipes da Prefeitura de Sorocaba percorrem pontos, em todas as regiões da cidade, ouvindo as demandas dos moradores e providenciando soluções e melhorias. Em cada local, uma comissão de moradores é montada para acompanhar diretamente os trâmites para execução de cada serviço solicitado.
