A Cidade das Artes recebeu, nesta terça-feira (9/4), um ponto de vacinação (PV) contra a gripe. A iniciativa da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde do Rio visa facilitar o acesso e estimular a imunização entre os cariocas. Desde o último sábado (6/4), toda a população a partir dos seis meses de idade pode se vacinar contra a gripe no município do Rio.
– A gente convoca todas as pessoas com mais de seis meses de idade a tomar a vacina da gripe. Essa vacina protege contra três sorotipos diferentes de influenza. É muito importante que as pessoas procurem uma unidade de saúde para se vacinar, ou um ponto extra de vacinação pela cidade. Essa vacina protege contra as cepas em circulação no momento, por isso é essencial que as pessoas se vacinem antes da chegada do inverno, época de maior incidência da gripe, para ficar protegido – explicou o secretário municipal de Saúde, Daniel Soranz.
O PV da Cidade das Artes, na Barra da Tijuca, funcionará até o próximo sábado (13/4). No dia 22 de abril, o PV retornará ao local, permanecendo até o dia 27. A vacinação será de segunda a sexta-feira na Sala Multiuso 3, das 9h às 17h, e aos sábados, das 8h às 13h. No dia 13, dia D de vacinação contra influenza, a imunização será estendida até as 17h.
