Escolas, instituições e outros grupos interessados podem participar, de forma gratuita, das visitas monitoradas no Parque da Biquinha e do projeto “Bica vai à Escola”. Para participar das atividades de Educação Ambiental é necessário fazer o agendamento prévio, de segunda a sexta-feira, das 8h às 17h, pelo telefone: (15) 3224-1997. As visitas são realizadas às sextas-feiras e, na última semana, um desses passeios contemplou crianças e adultos da Associação Criança Feliz.
A programação educativa no Parque da Biquinha, um dos mais tradicionais da cidade, é oferecida pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria do Meio Ambiente, Proteção e Bem-Estar Animal (Sema).
“Os grupos são recebidos e apresentamos a história do Parque, sua fauna e vegetação e, principalmente, falamos sobre a importância do papel de uma área verde na cidade, em meio à área urbana”, explica a educadora ambiental do Parque da Biquinha, Cristiane Crispim.
No roteiro “Conhecendo o Parque da Biquinha”, o grupo percorre as principais trilhas do local e conhece a nascente que deu nome ao parque. É uma oportunidade também para observar pássaros e conhecer a biodiversidade do local. A atividade monitorada é finalizada com dinâmica, jogo cooperativo ou pintura facial, conforme o tema escolhido pela escola ou instituição.
Bica vai à Escola
Já, o projeto “Bica vai à escola” é voltado a alunos a partir de 5 anos de idade de unidades de Educação Infantil de Sorocaba e tem como intuito conscientizar os pequenos, levando às escolas temas ligados à preservação do meio ambiente, de forma recreativa e interativa, utilizando material biológico, jogos educativos, binóculos, fantoches, entre outros, conforme o tema escolhido pela escola: “Aves” ou “Cultura Indígena”. A atividade ocorre às quartas (tarde) e quintas-feiras (manhã) e também recebeu grupo participante na última semana.
“É um projeto que acontece há mais de 20 anos no Parque e oferece, para as escolas que não conseguem realizar a visita, um pouco da sua história. Levamos informações sobre alguns temas que complementam o conteúdo programático, curricular das escolas, que podem ser aves, biodiversidade, cultura indígena, entre outras”, destaca Cristiane.
Além disso, segundo o interesse da escola, podem ser levados materiais didáticos e pedagógicos que as crianças possam manusear. Na visita realizada aos alunos da E.M. “José Mendes”, do Jardim Hungares, aos estudantes do 1º ano, o tema definido foi Cultura Indígena. O mesmo tema também foi apresentado aos alunos do Pré 2 do Centro de Educação Infantil (CEI) 44 “Luís Carvalho”, da Vila Carvalho.
Assim, foram levados até eles objetos indígenas e, na abordagem, foi feito um paralelo com a nossa cultura, preparando-as, desde pequenas, para um novo olhar para essa cultura, de forma respeitosa e correta. Por exemplo, atualizando-os quanto à nomenclatura, que descreve esses povos como originários ou indígenas, e não como índios.
