Prefeitura lança terceira etapa de campanha de combate ao Aedes aegypti na Região Bandeira – CGNotícias

A Prefeitura de Campo Grande lançou nesta terça-feira (09) a 3ª  etapa da campanha “Meu Bairro Limpo – Todos em Ação contra a Dengue”. Nos próximos dez dias, o trabalho de combate ao mosquito Aedes aegypti será intensificado nos bairros da Região Urbana do Bandeira.  Durante esse período, os servidores da Coordenadoria de Vetores (CCEV) irão fazer a inspeção de casas e terrenos baldios, além do recolhimento e eliminação de materiais inservíveis, potenciais criadouros do mosquito e orientação dos moradores em relação às medidas de prevenção.

A secretária municipal de Saúde, Rosana Leite de Melo, destacou durante a abertura da ação na Escola Municipal Professora Oneida Ramos, localizada no Jardim Campina Verde, a importância da união e colaboração de toda a comunidade para efetivamente prevenir a proliferação do inseto e as enfermidades associadas. A secretária salientou a posição privilegiada de Campo Grande em relação a outros centros urbanos do Brasil, que atualmente lidam com surtos dessas doenças.

“Campo Grande apresenta um quadro menos crítico, resultado do trabalho incansável dos agentes de saúde e da parceria com a comunidade. No entanto, a vigilância deve ser constante”, comentou. Ela lembrou que a maioria dos focos do mosquito ainda é encontrada dentro das casas, destacando a importância de cada cidadão adotar medidas preventivas nos lares.

Conselheiro da Região Bandeira e presidente da Associação de Moradores do Bairro Vivendas do Parque, Paulo Lunguinho, elogiou o trabalho que vem sendo realizado no combate ao mosquito Aedes aegypti no município. “Ações como estas são fundamentais para que a gente consiga reduzir os casos de dengue no município. Nós estamos vendo o empenho da gestão neste trabalho e também dos servidores que estão na linha de frente, dedicados neste propósito”, comenta.

Para a dona de casa Jovanilda Arraes, 58 anos, ainda falta consciência das pessoas em relação aos cuidados diários para evitar a proliferação do mosquito. “É algo tão simples de se fazer e muita gente não liga e não cuida do quintal. Sem contar aqueles que jogam lixo em local inapropriado. Na minha casa eu sempre busquei olhar tudo para evitar água parada. Mas é preciso que todo mundo contribua. Não basta só a Prefeitura e os agentes fazerem esse trabalho”, comenta.

Pontos de coleta

Durante a ação, três pontos de coleta de materiais inservíveis estarão sendo disponibilizados à população. Nos locais os moradores poderão descartar materiais de grande volume, como móveis inutilizados, carcaça de eletrodomésticos e eletrônicos, pneus e outros objetos que possam acumular água. Não é permitido o descarte de entulhos, restos de materiais de construção e podas de árvores.

Balanço

Durante a segunda etapa da campanha, realizada de 22 de março a 01 de abril na Região Urbana do Lagoa, foram inspecionados 13.800 imóveis, 9.874 materiais inservíveis, potenciais criadouros descartados e 456 focos do mosquito Aedes aegypti identificados e eliminados.

Ações permanentes

Desde novembro do ano passado, as equipes da Sesau vêm intensificando as medidas de prevenção e controle do vetor da dengue, previstas no Plano de Contingência Municipal, que estabelece metas para conter uma possível epidemia de arboviroses, além de estabelecer diretrizes quanto à assistência e organização de fluxo. As diretrizes foram publicadas no último mês, prevendo estratégias a serem executadas até 2025 para evitar o aumento no número de casos.

A Sesau também tem reforçado as ações educativas e de mobilização social nas sete regiões urbanas, distritos e assentamentos (Zona Rural) de Campo Grande, para orientar a população sobre as medidas para a prevenção às doenças transmitidas pelo Aedes aegypti. Tais iniciativas também são reforçadas na Atenção Primária, por meio das unidades básicas e de saúde da família, e nas escolas em período letivo.

Casos

Do dia 01 de janeiro a 02 de abril deste ano, foram notificados 5.429 casos de dengue e nenhum óbito em Campo Grande. Até o momento, não houve a notificação de nenhum caso de zika e apenas cinco notificações por chikungunya. Em todo o ano passado a Capital registrou 17.033 notificações de dengue e seis óbitos provocados pela doença. Foram notificados, de janeiro a dezembro de 2.023, 92 casos de zika e 176 de chikungunya.

A Capital fechou o segundo semestre do ano passado apresentando redução significativa nos casos de dengue, se comparado com o período anterior. O pico da doença foi registrado em abril, com mais de 3 mil casos notificados. A partir de junho, houve redução expressiva com estabilização nos meses seguintes.
