A Fundação Cultural de João Pessoa (Funjope) está avançando na estrutura para os desfiles do Carnaval Tradição, na Avenida Duarte da Silveira. Este ano, as arquibancadas foram ampliadas. O espaço terá capacidade para receber mais de 10 mil pessoas. Há ainda tablados onde irão ficar autoridades, imprensa e jurados. A previsão é que a estrutura esteja pronta nesta sexta-feira (9).
O diretor executivo da Funjope, Marcus Alves, avalia que, este ano, todo o Carnaval de João Pessoa está melhor do ponto de vista das atrações culturais, da organização, das estruturas, porque o prefeito Cícero Lucena tem estimulado um planejamento mais intenso em torno das festas populares.
Ele observa que o Carnaval é exatamente esse momento alto do calendário festivo da cidade e lembra que a Funjope tem dialogado com as associações e agremiações do Carnaval Tradição, desde o mês de novembro, estabelecendo metas e método de trabalho. “É uma forma de organização diferenciada, de maneira que chegamos agora, às vésperas do Carnaval Tradição, com tudo organizado e pronto. As escolas de samba, tribos indígenas, ala ursas, clubes de orquestras, todos se sentindo valorizados e prestigiados”, constata.
Marcus Alves ressalta ainda que foram realizadas as prévias carnavalescas muito animadas nos bairros. “Colocamos escolas de samba para se apresentarem durante o Sabadinho Bom no mês de janeiro. Tudo isso são fatores que levam a uma qualificação do Carnaval. Agora só nos resta esperar a avenida abrir, acolher as agremiações para fazermos um belo Carnaval”, pontua.
