Inaugurada na semana passada para atender os anseios da população com rondas nas sete regiões urbanas de Campo Grande, a Base Móvel da Guarda Civil Metropolitana vai atender nesta semana a região central da cidade. A Base foi instalada nesta segunda-feira (12) na Avenida Afonso Pena, em frente à Morada dos Baís, por onde permanecerá nos próximos dias.
“A GCM está na segunda região da operação Guarda em Ação. Como a região da Morada dos Baís é um local vulnerável, com bastante fluxo de pessoas, a instalação da base nesse ponto atende a um pedido dos moradores e comerciantes da região”, justificou o secretário Especial de Segurança e Defesa Social, Anderson Gonzaga.
A Base Móvel na região do Centro irá funcionar das 7h às 22h com rondas.
A base deve ficar em média por uma semana em cada local. Conforme o secretário da Sesdes, as regiões foram elencadas baseada na demanda da população.
Ao todo, 4 viaturas de 4 rodas e 6 motos farão o reforço no local. Também estarão presente a Ronda Ostensiva Municipal (Romu) e Grupamento Especializado de Motopatrulhamento (GEMOP) para trabalhos na segurança da região.
