Elas deverão desenvolver projetos que apontem soluções para problemas da comunidade
Alunas e servidores dos Campi Araraquara, Bragança Paulista e Salto participaram, na tarde desta quinta-feira (22), do evento de lançamento da temporada 2024 do Technovation Girls, na sede da Oracle Brasil, em São Paulo.
O Technovation Girls é o maior programa de tecnologia e empreendorismo do mundo, voltado exclusivamente para meninas entre 08 a 18 anos, as quais são desafiadas a criar, desenvolver e lançar um aplicativo de celular ou um projeto utilizando Inteligência Artificial que resolva problemas em suas comunidades. O desafio deve estar alinhado a um dos 17 objetivos de desenvolvimento sustentável da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU).
Durante 12 semanas, as participantes passam por todo o processo, desde a identificação do problema e a geração de ideias para solucioná-lo até a elaboração do plano de negócios, o desenvolvimento para lançamento do produto digital no mercado e a apresentação para investidores.
Dez projetos do mundo todo serão selecionados para participar do World Pitch Event, que é sediado por uma grande empresa de tecnologia nos Estados Unidos.
Segundo a professora Renata Maria Porto Vanni, do Campus Araraquara, na atividade de Ideação, realizada durante o evento, foi feita a apresentação de como as participantes devem buscar os problemas e discutir as soluções.
A partir dessa identificação, as alunas dos Campi Araraquara, Bragança Paulista e Salto, orientadas por um servidor, irão desenvolver seus projetos. O Campus Bragança Paulista terá dez equipes participando da competição; o Campus Salto, uma; e Araraquara, quatro.
Duas das equipes do Campus Araraquara já definiram seus projetos, explica Renata: “uma aplicará Inteligência Artificial em jogo ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), outra desenvolverá uma solução para prevenir a gravidez na adolescência”.
Gabriela Moura, Jessica da Costa e Ana Laura Bento, alunas do Técnico em Informática no Campus Araraquara, demonstraram entusiasmo durante o lançamento do programa. “Fizemos um aplicativo para incentivar sobretudo as crianças a se interessarem pela área das Ciências. Tem sido uma experiência muito nova, o ambiente é muito acolhedor “, afirmaram.
