A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Urbes – Trânsito e Transportes, passa a atender, a partir desta quarta-feira (28), os moradores da região do bairro Chácaras Ana Maria, na Zona Leste da cidade, com ônibus do Sistema Rápido Rural do transporte público. O anúncio oficial ocorreu nesta terça-feira (27), durante ato realizado no local.
O Sistema Rápido Rural, que passa a operar na linha 82 – Condomínio Ana Maria, consiste na utilização de ônibus com layout diferenciado e equipado com pneus especiais (de trator) para trafegar em vias de terra, a fim de operar com eficiência em estradas rurais. Essa linha é responsável por atender propriedades rurais nos arredores, além de outros empreendimentos distribuídos ao longo de seu percurso.
Inicialmente a linha 82 manterá o mesmo percurso, ou seja, com partida inicial no Terminal São Paulo. Também a partir desta quarta-feira, ela receberá aumento da oferta, com a criação de três novos horários em dias úteis: 13h e 19h, partindo do bairro, e 14h, partindo do Terminal São Paulo.
Porém, após a conclusão das obras e a entrega do Corredor Leste-Oeste do BRT, prevista para ocorrer até abril deste ano, a linha 82 deverá ser seccionada a partir da Rodovia João Leme dos Santos e incluída na operação do Miniterminal Tatiana. Dessa forma, nesse novo ponto, os usuários poderão se conectar, inclusive nos fins de semana, com novas linhas e outras opções de deslocamentos incluídas no projeto.
Essa é a sétima linha do Sistema Rápido Rural em operação no município, sistema que começou a ser implantado em abril de 2022. São atendidas as linhas A30/1 – Genebra/Inhaíba (Zona Leste), A67 – Ipanema das Pedras (Zona Oeste), A69 – Caguaçu/Bom Jesus (Zona Norte), A75 – Campininha (Zona Norte), 34 – Aparecidinha/Via Terra (Zona Leste) e A30/2 Tupã/Caputera (Zona Leste).
O Sistema Rápido Rural, desenvolvido pela própria Urbes em parceria com as empresas que atuam no setor, tem um formato inovador no transporte público de Sorocaba, que coloca fim à necessidade de desvios de itinerários de ônibus das estradas de terra, em dias de chuva.
A meta é implantar o Sistema Rápido Rural, de forma gradual, a atender mais bairros com acesso por estradas de terra, em diversas regiões da cidade. Essas linhas fazem a ligação dos respectivos bairros com pontos de conexão em cada um deles, para acesso a outras linhas regulares e com itinerário ligando à região central da cidade.
