Encontro de Secretários Municipais de Finanças da Paraíba discute melhorias nas gestões

Perspectivas para melhorias na gestão das finanças públicas. Esse foi o tema do 2º Encontro de Secretários Municipais de Finanças da Paraíba coordenado pelo secretário da Capital, Brunno Sitônio, nesta sexta-feira (5), durante o I Congresso Paraibano de Municípios e Feira de Oportunidades e Negócios (Confep), e a Caravana Federativa, realizado pela Federação das Associações de Municípios da Paraíba (Famup), com apoio da Prefeitura de João Pessoa. Representantes de cerca de 30 municípios estiveram presentes, além do presidente da Famup, George Coelho.  

O secretário Brunno Sitônio ressaltou que o encontro tem como principal meta a melhoria na gestão de finanças no sentido de fomentar o debate sobre as modificações nas legislações tributária, fiscal e contábil. O evento também teve a finalidade de trazer temas inerentes às finanças públicas para serem discutidos com os municípios paraibanos, com as Secretarias de Finanças, Fazenda e de Tributação.  

“A melhoria na gestão de finanças tem que ser contínua, até porque existe uma constante modificação de legislações e a gente tem que estar atento. Então, nós temos que estar atento à parte tributária, à parte fiscal, à parte contábil, à parte da gestão de tesouraria. A gente está sempre em melhorias contínuas”, informou Brunno Sitônio.  

O secretário de Finanças de João Pessoa acrescentou que a interação entre os secretários municipais também é importante para que seja aberto um canal de informações onde podem ser expostas sugestões de melhorias para as boas práticas das gestões financeiras.  

“A gente traz temas atuais que estão sendo discutidos no Congresso, já são legislações que estão sendo aplicadas e a gente também abre o debate para sugestões, onde é que a gente pode ter melhorias. Também tem o momento de boas práticas nos municípios onde a gente conhece o que está sendo feito nas gestões das finanças”, enfatizou.  

Brunno Sitônio elencou algumas melhorias implantadas na gestão financeira da Prefeitura de João Pessoa. “Estamos desenvolvendo diversas ações importantes, entre elas a integração de sistemas, a implantação da governança pública na Secretaria de Finanças, Compliance também, onde a gente tem a conformidade contábil, fiscal, então todas essas ações são importantes para a gente bem gerir os recursos públicos. Outra importante ação que a gente faz é de capacitação e orientação para toda administração direta e indireta da Prefeitura de João Pessoa”, destacou.  

Sobre o Confep – O I Congresso Paraibano de Municípios e Feira de Oportunidades e Negócios contou com a presença de 34 ministérios, em João Pessoa. Com uma vasta programação voltada a prefeitos, prefeitas, vice-prefeitos, secretários, servidores públicos, vereadores e políticos em geral, o evento foi realizado durante dois dias, no Centro de Convenções. A realização foi da Famup e contou com o apoio do Governo Federal, Governo da Paraíba e Assembleia Legislativa do Estado.  

Caravana Federativa – A Caravana Federativa, que aconteceu paralelo ao Confep, é um projeto da Secretaria Especial de Assuntos Federativos (SEAF) que desempenha um papel fundamental na coordenação e integração entre os diferentes níveis de governo. Suas competências incluem auxiliar o ministro chefe da Secretaria de Relações Institucionais na articulação política com os entes federativos, promover a integração desses entes às políticas públicas do governo federal, gerenciar informações e elaborar estudos para o aperfeiçoamento do pacto federativo.
