Mesmo com a chuva ainda caindo no final da tarde desta quinta-feira (11), a Prefeitura de Campo Grande, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Infraestrutura e Serviços Públicos (Sisep), iniciou uma ação emergencial em um ponto crítico do bairro Portal Caiobá, na área da Rua Mangaba, onde ocorreu alagamento. Os trabalhos que permaneceram até o horário noturno ontem continuam nesta sexta-feira (12).
Os operários ficaram no bairro até por volta das 22h sendo acompanhados pelo presidente da Associação dos Moradores do Portal Caiobá 2, Wesley Neres.
“A equipe da Sisep veio imediatamente, assim que acionamos a Secretaria e fizeram o que pôde ser feito, trabalharam até às dez horas da noite, é a primeira vez que vejo isso em nosso bairro. Só temos que agradecer”, disse a liderança comunitária local.
O alagamento ocorreu na região das ruas Projetada e Mangaba, onde há uma inclinação para onde a água da parte mais alta acaba descendo e invadindo alguns imóveis.
Como há previsão de chuva neste fim de semana, a Sisep pretende iniciar na semana que vem, caso o tempo melhore, uma obra emergencial para o escoamento da água nesse trecho, e assim tentar resolver a questão. Além da equipe que está atuando neste local, a Sisep está com grupos de trabalho fazendo a limpeza das bocas de lobo das vias asfaltadas onde também ocorreram alagamentos durante a chuva de ontem à tarde.
